Production:

  • Assemble renders, matte paintings, and FX elements in Nuke according to provided guidelines

  • Follow creative and technical instructions from Leads and Supervisors

  • Keep Nuke scripts clean, organized, and optimized

  • Ensure work meets technical specifications and pipeline standards

  • Implement feedback efficiently and with attention to detail

  • Track shot progress accurately using production tracking tools

Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments

  • Share feedback and assist junior artists when appropriate

  • Strong proficiency in Nuke, including working with multi-pass (AOV) renders
  • Ability to manage multiple shots simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Motivation to learn and grow in a production environment

  • Strong eye for composition, color, and seamless integration

  • Team-oriented mindset and openness to feedback

  • Good understanding of the 3D pipeline (Lighting, FX, Rendering)

  • Problem-solving skills and technical autonomy

  • Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with scripting (TCL, Python)

  • Experience using ShotGrid or similar production tracking tools

  • Basic understanding of color theory, lighting, and photography principles

The person in this role will work closely with our Paris studio in a bilingual environment, as well as with international partners, talent, and clients. They will regularly interact with non-French-speaking stakeholders across various productions and strategic communications, in order to present and promote the creative and technical strengths of Mikros Animation on a global scale.
