Mid Android Engineer

Helmes (ex. TeleSoftas) is on the lookout for a talented Mid-Android Engineer to join our team! We're looking for someone with an open mindset who is motivated, collaborative, proactive, and has a strong sense of ownership.

About the project

TV 2 is Denmark’s largest commercial TV network and operates the successful streaming service TV 2 Play, with over half a million daily users. We are looking for a developer to join the Play Content & Search product team, focused on helping users discover relevant content. The Scrum team includes mobile, web, and backend developers. In addition, mobile developers collaborate within the Apple & Android Apps competence team to share knowledge, solve challenges, and deliver the best possible product.

Challenges you’ll tackle: 

• Collaborate within a cross-functional Scrum team of mobile, web, and backend developers 
• Develop and implement innovative features within the TV2 Play app (Android and mobile web) and support libraries 
• Focus on user experience, designing intuitive features that help users discover the perfect content for their needs 
• Participate in Android team learning workshops, conferences, training, and team-building 

Requirements

Skills for success: 

• More than 1 year of work experience with the Kotlin programming language 
• Strong knowledge of the Android framework 
• Experience with Git 
• Great English language skills 
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs 

Bonus for: 

• Experience in video streaming technologies, including LAR, DRM implementation, and video analytics 
• Hands-on experience in creating user-friendly Android TV applications

For this position, we offer €3,300 - €4,300 /month gross salary.   

The final offer will depend on your experience and competencies.
