Microsoft SaaS Point Lead (Contract Type: 4 to 6 months)

Maker Lab is supporting our agency partner Miroma Project Factory for this role and we are looking for a contractor to support the build of sites and someone who has a strong blend of technical design expertise, and hands-on experience in building scalable solutions. 

Role: 

  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive data mapping documents that define field-level translations, transformations, and business rules.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable and robust integration solutions using Microsoft technologies (Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, API Management, etc.).
  • Define API requirements (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML) needed for system interoperability.
  • Own the integration component of projects, ensuring deliverables are on time and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create and maintain all integration-related documentation (solution design, data maps, support runbooks).
  • Serve as the key liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Contribute to the enterprise integration strategy by helping define best practices, standards, and reusable components.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Business Analyst, Integration Analyst, or similar role.
  • Proven experience in business analysis fundamentals (requirements elicitation, process mapping, data modelling, workshop facilitation).
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns (e.g., pub-sub, request-response, ETL).
  • Hands-on experience with APIs (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.

Contract Type: 4 to 6 months.
