Summary
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Power Automate Developer with hands-on experience in integrating and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will also design, develop, and optimize automated workflows, business processes, and integrations that enhance productivity, data accuracy, and operational efficiency across the organization using the Power Automate platform.
Responsibilities
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer
- Develop and tailor features in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O to align with specific business requirements.
- Rigorously test and implement code changes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to the seamless integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O with other systems and applications.
- Provide production support by monitoring system health, investigating incidents, and resolving issues to ensure business continuity.
Power Automate Developer
- Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Customize, configure, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O to support business processes.
- Create custom connectors, data transformations, AI Builder components, and workflow logic as needed.
- Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Teams, Azure services, and third-party systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot workflow failures, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues.
Release Management
- Manage version control, branching, and code promotion.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Monitor and measure release performance and efficiency.
Configuration and Deployment
- Configure and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O components and features meticulously.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configuration and deployment.
- Support UAT cycles, deploy solutions across environments, and provide post-deployment maintenance.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Engage proactively with team members, including architects, analysts, and testers, to ensure the delivery of cohesive and integrated solutions.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing insightful feedback.
Documentation
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all development activities.
- Update and enhance documentation related to configurations and customizations.
Problem Solving
- Identify and proactively address technical challenges and issues.
- Collaborate with the team to formulate efficient and effective solutions.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 releases, features, and best practices.
- Adhere to best practices in security, governance, documentation, and solution architecture.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven track record as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer, emphasizing customization and development.
- Proficiency in X++ and .NET programming languages.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations tools and technologies.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power Automate.
- Practical experience customizing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, entities, business rules, and solution management.
- Ability to analyze business processes and turn them into technical workflow solutions.
- Solid understanding of ERP concepts and processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written with at least an Upper Intermediate level.
Preferred Skills
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with integration technologies (REST APIs, JSON, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, etc.).
- Experience with JavaScript, C#, or plugins for extending Dynamics 365 functionality.
- Understanding of DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps/Git) for Power Platform deployments.
- Familiarity with legal entity launches.
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
