MES System Manager

1. Software Implementation & Integration

• Lead end-to-end implementation of ERP, MES, CMMS, Quality, and Inventory systems

• Translate manufacturing workflows into software configurations

• Integrate machines, weighbridges, scanners, and PLC data with software platforms

• Ensure seamless data flow between production, stores, QC, finance, and dispatch

2. Manufacturing Process Digitization

• Map current processes (as-is) and design optimized digital workflows (to-be)

• Digitize:

  • Production reporting

  • Scrap and yield tracking

  • Furnace / machine logs

  • Maintenance schedules

  • Quality checks and traceability

• Eliminate manual registers and Excel-based reporting

3. Data & Analytics

• Design dashboards for:

  • OEE

  • Yield & recovery

  • Energy consumption

  • Downtime and root causes

  • Cost per kg / unit

• Work with management to define KPIs and MIS structure

4. Vendor & Project Management

• Coordinate with ERP vendors, system integrators, and automation partners

• Own timelines, testing, UAT, and go-live activities

• Control implementation costs and scope creep

5. Change Management & Training

• Train shop-floor supervisors, engineers, and managers

• Drive adoption across departments

• Act as bridge between operators and software teams

6. IT–OT Coordination

• Work with IT for:

  • Network, servers, cloud, backups, cybersecurity

• Work with OT teams for:

  • PLC data access

  • Machine connectivity

  • Sensor integrations

Must-Have

• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations

• Experience implementing ERP or MES in a factory

• Ability to read and understand production, QC, and maintenance workflows

• SQL / Excel / dashboarding skills

• Vendor and project management capability

Good to Have

• Experience in metals, casting, machining, process industries

• Exposure to PLC / SCADA / IoT

• Python, Power BI, or low-code tools

• Lean / Six Sigma or industrial engineering background
