MES Specialist

Secure the maintenance and development of MES and connected applications for digital manufacturing in the company (availability, efficiency, security) and create value.

Work with MES configuration and master data to secure functioning of the MES system and its integrations with other business system and/or machine integrations.

Ensure data security by access management. 

Securing availability of MES and machines by conduct/coordinate troubleshooting process and preventive actions.

Create improvements connected with system, process, and machine functioning.

Transfer knowledge in the team.

1. Administration MES to ensure data security and stability of exchange by:

        access management, performance monitoring,

• testing the operation of the system after updates/upgrades
• configuration of new areas (new lines, factories, flows)
• implementing modifications in processes and functionalities
• building workflows
• implementation of new modules (expansion, testing)
• creating/modifying the user interface
• installation of MES system applications

1. MES governance

• supervision over compliance to standard connection of new machines
• cooperation with suppliers of new/existing solutions (software, machines)
• third-party access management
• integration of MES systems with external solutions

1. Transfer of knowledge in the field of MES and/or IT/OT, including in particular:

• transferring knowledge to people from the other departments
• conducting technical trainings (key users, end users)
• technical advice for employees from other departments on configuration

1. MES Incident management

• incident resolution support via ticket system
• functional user support
• cooperation with the competence center and/or other departments for troubleshooting

1. Good knowledge of MES and ERP
2. General IT overview
3. English fluency (min. B2)
4. Knowledge of Cybersecurity
5. MS Office – advanced
6. Experience with databases management (SQL, Historian) - advantage
7. Experience with Power BI - advantage
8. Technical skills - for reading, understanding and using technological / technical documentation
9. Process thinking - understanding the principles and course of business processes, the ability to map and develop them in IT systems
10. Trainer skills - to transfer knowledge in the field of IT systems support within the department and organization
11. Innovation - curiosity for new information and will (ambition) to seek and implement improvements in business processes
