Merchandiser, Women's Tops

We are seeking a Women’s Merchant of Layers to manage the development & execution of the seasonal assortment. This individual will be responsible for executing the brand product strategy and helping to establish the Women’s Layers assortment, identifying new growth opportunities across all seasonal product classifications. To be effective in this role, the individual must be an experienced Merchant who’s passionate about the performance apparel space, Vuori’s mission and embody the brand’s values. 

This role is onsite 5 days a week in our Carlsbad, CA HQ  

What you'll get to do:

• Develop comprehensive assortment strategies across E-comm, Store, Wholesale and International channels to deliver high growth expectations 
• Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and impart key insights into line development 
• Build seasonal & annual line plan for all of Women’s Layers (Sweatshirts and Sweaters) 
• Partner with planning team on seasonal investment strategy and monthly buy process  
• Prepare reports on business results and present actionable insights to senior leadership 
• Create and manage all seasonal assortment tools for Layers 
• Support the buying, marketing, and development product calendar for all channels 
• Partner with planning on in-season product performance and build data driven action plan based on results 
• Uphold brand price positioning and manage the pricing strategy for Women’s Layers 
• Build seasonal Product Messaging plan in support of Marketing’s seasonal editorial calendar, providing guidance on key seasonal product stories and commercialization plan  
• Create strong partnerships among cross-functional teams including Planning, Allocation, Design, Product Development, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Visual Merchandising 
• Create seasonal Product Knowledge info for stores and ecommerce merchandising teams 
• Act as cross departmental liaison, creating a consistent flow of communication throughout the organization 

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 3+ years Merchandising experience  
• Activewear experience preferred  
• Strong eye for trend right product that aligns with the brand aesthetic 
• Experience delivering high growth at the brand or category level  
• Experience recapping business on a regular basis and presenting actionable insights to Sr. Leadership 
• Ability to travel domestically 
• Strong communication & collaboration skills 
• Experience using Excel, Adobe Illustrator and PLM is a plus

The salary range for this role is $93,400 per year - $120,120 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
