Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a Community Mental Health on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting individuals with memory difficulties, delivering person-centred occupational therapy interventions within a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention for individuals accessing the Memory Service

  • Support patients to maintain independence and function in daily activities

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to assessment, care planning, and reviews

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in line with service requirements

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

  • Experience working within community or mental health services (Memory Service experience desirable)

  • Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a part-time caseload
