We bring this mission to life through Soluna, California’s first-in-the-nation digital behavioral health service for 13–25-year-olds. Soluna removes barriers to care by providing nearly immediate access to 1:1 coaching, Care Navigation, and self-guided tools helping young people find real support, build resilience, and discover hope when they need it most. What We’re Looking For:
Soluna is recruiting California and New Jersey-based leaders ages 18-25 who are passionate about mental health and community building. Gain real-world experience, expand your professional network, and make a difference on your community and on local campuses.
As a Young Adult Ambassador, you will be responsible for promoting the Soluna app on high-school campuses (& college for CA only), in your community, and through your social networks. You will have the opportunity to represent Soluna at events, participate in marketing campaigns, collaborate with the marketing and product teams in ongoing enhancements to the app’s user experience (UX), and engage in a variety of activities to create awareness among youth across California & New Jersey. This is an opportunity to gain real-world marketing and UX experience while contributing to a purpose-driven organization aiming to strengthen youth mental health.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Key Responsibilities:
- Spend 2.5 hours/week working on promotion activities and/or collaborating with the Soluna team remotely (via Slack).
- Promote the Soluna app through a range of online, community and campus-based initiatives, including social media, word-of-mouth, and events.
- Participate in campus or community events to represent Soluna and share its benefits.
- Create and share content (posts, stories, videos) that resonates with teens and young adults.
- Collaborate with student organizations and clubs, mental health groups, and school decision makers to drive app downloads.
- Participate in media opportunities, including interviews or panel discussions, to highlight the importance of youth mental health and Soluna’s role in helping to transform California’s and New Jersey's mental health systems.
- Share regular feedback and insights to help improve the app.
- Report regularly on your activities as an Ambassador.
Preferred Skills & Interests:
- Strong Communication Skills – Ability to engage and communicate effectively with peers and on social platforms.
- Social Media Savvy – Experience creating content on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, with an understanding of how to leverage these for brand awareness.
- Event Participation & Promotion – Experience or interest in organizing, representing an organization as a participant and/or promoting events, whether virtually or in-person.
- Passionate about Mental Health – A strong interest in mental health advocacy, increasing access to quality support, and reducing stigma.
- Networking Skills – Ability to connect with student organizations, influencers, and other stakeholders to foster partnerships.
- Creativity – Ability to create engaging, relatable, and innovative outreach messages and/or content tailored to a teen and young adult audience.
- Self-Motivation & Initiative – Ability to work independently and take initiative in promoting the brand without constant supervision.

- Schedule: Part-time
- Hours: 12 hours per month BASELINE (excluding approved scheduled events).
- Employment duration: Temporary or seasonal
- Estimated start date: 07/13/2026
- Estimated end date: 2/25/2027
- Location: Must reside in the state of California or New Jersey.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduated from high school/received GED
- See time requirements and location requirements
- Strong willingness to join in-person local events that do not conflict with class schedule
- Strong willingness to create social posts/content and share on personal social accounts
- Access to reliable internet
Desired Qualifications:
- Current student attending college in person (Lives in dorms is a plus) and/or strong connections within the community to support promotion efforts
- Would be excited to post on personal socials as part of worked hours
- Self-transportation for commuting to and from local events (preferred; however, Uber can be provided as needed

This role offers an hourly rate of $40. We’re committed to transparency and value our candidates time, which is why we share the hourly rates in all states—regardless of local requirements.
