We are seeking a highly skilled MEMS Design Engineer to lead the design and optimization of next-generation Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers (CMUTs). This role sits at the intersection of theoretical physics, advanced Finite Element Method (FEM) simulation, and hands-on fabrication support. You will be responsible for the full design cycle—from initial transducer architecture to supporting the transition into microfabrication.

Butterfly offers a hybrid work model for most positions, with team members spending two or more days a week in the office. This is an in-office position and will be based out of our office in Taiwan.
Our estimated salary for this role is $1M TWD a year + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
