We are backed by Offline.VC,Charge.VC, VSC, Continuum Ventures, as well as many prominent angels in Silicon Valley.     Role The Member Care Champion is an essential member of the clinical team at Enara Health. This position is responsible for overseeing all the components that contribute to smooth and efficient member care, as well as assisting in larger projects related to overall workflow. You will work closely with the clinical provider team to ensure consistent member messaging and fluid handoffs between departments to streamline the member care journey.We are looking for a warm, passionate team player to join this team to support our physicians and clinical staff and provide the highest quality care to our members.Enara’s Member Care Champions/Medical Assistants have gone on to get into medical school, PA school, and Nursing school at top schools such as UCLA and Georgetown. Many have also helped our research team publish papers.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Member Interaction and Care
  • Check-in Process: Be the friendly face that greets our members, manage the check-in process efficiently while collecting up to date insurance and payment information, measure and record vital signs accurately, and communicate effectively with our providers.
  • Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct non-invasive diagnostic procedures like body measurements, body composition testing, metabolic testing, and EKGs, all while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    Appointment Management
  • Schedule Follow-Up Appointments: Coordinate follow-up appointments, reach out to members who missed their appointments, and assist with rescheduling to keep everything on track.

    Communication and Support
  • Manage Inbound Communications: Handle phone calls, voicemails, emails, and member app messages with patience and a smile, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to address member concerns and ensure comprehensive and effective solutions.

    Clinical Operations
  • Supply & Inventory Management: Oversee ordering and inventory of clinic supplies to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Marketing Materials: Assemble and prepare outreach folders and Enara brochures to be distributed in clinics as part of growth initiatives.
  • Mail & Records Management: Triage incoming mail, scan/upload documents into their respective Google Drives, and maintain organized records.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform and track BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) and Metabolic Machine calibration to ensure accurate and reliable results

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Documents, Sheets, Forms).
  • Proficiency with medical technology, including EMR and mobile apps.

    In-Person Hours

  • 2 days in clinic to start

  • 3 days in clinic once thoroughly trained

  • Each in-person shift is 4 hours (8:30am to 12:30pm) 

  • Third shift that is to be added may be afternoon hours pending new hires availability

  • 2 sites 

  • Bowie Physical Therapy Associates (4351 Northview Dr, Bowie, MD 20716)

  • Maryland Endocrine (5500 Knoll N Dr suite 510, Columbia, MD 21045)

  • 1 day in Bowie and 2 days in Columbia

  • Current days: Wednesday (Bowie) and Friday (Columbia)

  • Second day at Columbia site can be on Tuesday or Thursday pending new hires availability

  • Online Hours

  • 2 hours/day Monday-Friday

  • Hours must occur between 12pm EST to 5pm EST 

  • Online duties: Appointment reminder calls and texts (medical, nutrition, exercise appointments, and online group classes) and contacting patients to reschedule cancelled appointments

  • Total Hours : 20 to 22 hours a week @ $20 to $21/hour
