Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
4+ years of experience with large databases, data verification, and data management, or 2+ years of IT experience.
Required Skills
Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace analytics.
Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, SELECT statements, and multiple JOIN types.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, aggregations, formatting, and building nested formulas for metrics and financial modeling).
Power BI experience, including familiarity with DAX and Power Pivot.
Experience with financial analytics tools and basic financial modeling.
Solid understanding of payment methodologies such as DRG pricing, APC, and EAPG.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Python or R.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support QAI (Quality and Affordability Initiatives), MLR (Medical Loss Ratio) targets, and related KPIs
