What You’ll Do
• Prototype, build, and refine mechanical components for our smart robotic platform
• Rapidly iterate using CAD, 3D printing, and low-volume fabrication techniques
• Run experiments to improve agility, noise, power efficiency, durability, and payload handling
• Support integration of motors, fans, servos, and control systems
• Plan and conduct lab and field testing (quantitative and qualitative)
• Collaborate with founders and senior engineers on product direction
• Work with remote manufacturing teams to refine DfM and component sourcing (China/HK)
• Help lead focus group sessions and hands-on product evaluation
About You
• 3–5 years’ experience in a hands-on product development role
• Degree-qualified in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Robotics or related engineering field
• Confident with CAD and 3D printing for rapid prototyping
• Exposure to basic electronics assembly and configuration
• Generalist mindset with a solid grasp of mechanical, electronic, and control systems
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
• Thrive in a startup environment—collaborative, fast-paced, experimental
• Excellent communicator across disciplines and cultures
• Passionate about robotics, R&D, gaming, and building cool things from scratch

Up to $130K + super + ESOP
