We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the assembly and maintenance of robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the assembly of mechanical components and systems for robots following detailed instructions and drawings.
- Use basic hand tools and equipment to assist in the assembly process.
- Ensure all components are properly aligned, fitted and fastened under supervision.
- Help perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow safety guidance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Gain hands-on experience with tools, instruments and assembly procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in or completion of a technical program in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field is preferred.
- No prior experience required, but basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop mechanical assembly skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
