Mechanical Repair Technician

Repair Technicians disassemble, diagnose, and reassemble Reverse Vending Machine components while ensuring adherence to quality standards and productivity goals.
Responsibilities
Repair Technicians are responsible for the disassembly, diagnosis, reassembly, and post repair testing of Reverse Vending Machine mechanical components. Responsible to adhere to procedures, quality standards, and productivity goals as directed by supervision and in accordance with company policies.
Essential Duties
Lift assemblies of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules, and demands for emergent repairs
Integrate with a team of technicians, inspectors, and leadership with effective communication and teamwork.
Perform non-technical functions as directed by supervision (housekeeping, counting inventory, audit support).
Support implementation of LEAN, 5S, Six Sigma, Quality Assurance, and ISO initiatives.
Wear properly assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, speak, and understand English
Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical principles
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work documents
Willing to act on supervisor direction
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Familiar with basic hand tools
Previous experience in LEAN principles is desired
