RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs preventative maintenance on our industrial manufacturing equipment, including presses, conveyors, pumps, and more.

Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems. Replaces parts and components and makes other necessary repairs to machinery.

Fabricates parts for presses, assembles/disassembles equipment, and performs other tasks such as cutting, burning, welding, and pipefitting.

Reads, understands, and applies mechanical and structural blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams, and circuitry. Some electrical knowledge is helpful.

Conducts weekly inspections for health and safety to remain compliant with plant and state/federal regulations.
REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma or GED

Two years of mechanical maintenance experience in the area of industrial maintenance, welding, or a closely related field is preferred. Certifications or education from an accredited trade school may substitute for experience.

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of safe and proper usage of hand/power tools, including welders, cutting torches, and plasma cutters.

Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling and lifting of 50+ pounds, and standing/climbing in an 8hr shift.
