Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Installer to support a full-service contracting operation specializing in heavy equipment, lifting systems, and customized mechanical solutions. This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Essential Functions:
Install fluid power systems, electrical controls, heavy lift systems, and rail drive systems.
Complete daily assignments following team briefings.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality output.
Minimize downtime by maintaining readiness of tools, parts, and equipment.
Accurately document all tasks in a clear and organized manner.
Prioritize emergency repair requests as directed by management.
Follow all safety regulations and maintain an orderly work environment.
Participate in team-based projects to complete repairs and maintenance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel: Approximately 15%
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with heavy equipment (e.g., cranes, trailers, tracked machinery).
At least 5 years of experience in two or more additional technical areas (hydraulics, electronics, small engines, HVAC, etc.).
High School Diploma/GED plus trade school, dealership, or factory technical training equivalent to an associate’s degree.
Strong results-oriented mindset with the ability to convey urgency when needed.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
