Mechanical Engineer | Telematics

We are expanding our team and looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop innovative product enclosures and testing equipment that support our cutting-edge IoT solutions.

 

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

In this role, you will:

  • Design plastic, rubber, and metal components optimized for mass production and robotic assembly lines.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
  • Test and evaluate product components (mechanical strength, temperature resistance, sealing, etc.).
  • Design and produce functional prototypes (3D printing, milling, and more).
  • Develop automated testing benches and optimize production processes.
  • Contribute to automation and new product launch projects.

 

What we expect of you:

  • Degree in engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and injection molding.
  • Experience with 2D drawings and GD&T.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing, milling, and other mechanical production technologies.
  • Experience in production/testing automation or product packaging is a plus.
  • Ability to work with technical English documentation.
  • A responsible, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in verbal Lithuanian is essential for this role.
  • Prior experience in linear, non-linear, injection molding simulations would be an advantage.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 15 Eur/h up to 35 Eur/h (~2520 Eur—5800 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

 

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
