Mechanical Engineer, PE

AE Works is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Individuals who are qualified for this position shall possess the ability to work directly with clients and lead the discussion during presentations, project meetings, shall have excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical/problem skills, and lead and work within a multi-discipline team setting.

Role and Responsibilities for Position:

• Lead the design and construction administration of HVAC systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation, within various market segments
• Lead clients and internal design team, including architects and engineers, through the planning and design for the mechanical systems for building projects, both new construction and renovation
• Produce high quality deliverables for Clients at all stages of design
• Serve as a primary contact with client and consultants for mechanical engineering design on projects
• Travel with team members for onsite collaboration, investigations, and project presentations

Technical Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Experience in design of healthcare, data center, senior care, higher education, commercial, central plants (including steam and chilled water systems) and/or government projects
• PE registration in VA, MD, PA or other reciprocal state
• 5+ years of industry experience 
• Experience with Revit and Bluebeam
