To ensure this we create and convey solutions that provide the greatest value for Our Client and its customers. Processing Liquid Food Solutions has approximately 350 employees across five main sites Sweden China USA India and Singapore We are hiring for the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer in P and F BU Liquid Food Solutions The Senior Mechanical Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and is based in Chakan Pune. The role requires knowledge and understanding of engineering practices for the design of food processing machinery including applied food processing technology hygienic design general machine design and manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to design process modules and lines across all food categories to fulfil customer orders. You will work from order intake through to delivery of the finished product. At Business Unit Liquid Food in India we work with process solutions that include various types of modules linked to complete projects This provides variation and challenges in daily work. The position is based in Pune India You will be required to travel 10 percent of your time What you will do:

As a Mechanical Engineer in Prepared Food and Plant Based engineering you will be part of a team of Process Automation and Mechanical Engineers delivering processing solutions to customers. You will work closely with R and D Supply Chain.

Management Production and Sales and be part of a global network.

Be responsible for mechanical and piping design in customer orders throughout the entire order process.

Create 3D process piping design skid design and modelling using Autodesk Inventor.

Extract 2D drawings for manufacturing use.

Extract pipe and fitting lists for BOM purchasing and manufacturing.

Extract frame pipe and fitting BOM and prepare costing for planning meetings.

Assist workshop assemblers with technical queries.

Provide quick layout estimates for sales support.

Communicate with Mechanical Design Owners in Sweden to share updates and feedback.

Work with component suppliers on development projects.

Design local modules independently including pasteurizers TPCIP and sterilizers.

Design BPU branded processing units for prepared food plant based dairy beverage and aseptic tank orders.

Create 2D detail drawings for tanks and vessels.

Communicate with production quality supply management and engineering teams as required.

Provide engineering support to other sites.

Perform FEA and frame analysis.

Support issue resolution audits WCM activities and other tools.

We believe you have:

5 to 12 years of working experience.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience with Autodesk Inventor or other 3D piping design software and AutoCAD 2D and 3D.

Proficiency in MS Office software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Service minded attitude.

Ability to multitask in stressful situations.

Strong experience in hygienic piping design skid design process piping food manufacturing practices.

Good understanding of standards and codes such as ASME SMS 3A DIN.

Experience in tank and vessel design.
