Mechanical Design Intern (Robotics Hardware)

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Intern to join our internal team. The position will focus on analysing, sizing, designing and assembling the required hardware to facilitate automated welding using a UR10e Cobot.

 Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the 3D CAD design of mechanisms
  • Help in creating concepts for the robotic welding 
  • Collaborate closely with our robotics (Robot Operating System) and Machine Learning engineers
  • Support the fabrication and assembly of prototype parts 

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably from NTUA or other polytechnic school)
  • 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
  • A strong interest in robotics, and mechanical design
