We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer, who will be responsible for the software hub of the Production Division.

This role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams, including electronic engineers and software developers, to ensure the successful integration and functionality of the robot’s software. He/she will also be a member of the commissioning team during the delivery process of our robots.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all software-related activities within the Production Division
  • Oversee integration of software systems and robotic platforms
  • Work closely with electronic and mechanical engineers to ensure proper hardware–software integration.
  • Collaborate with software developers to align overall design with system functionality
  • Facilitate communication between production, engineering, and development teams
  • Support testing of robotic systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
  • Participate in debugging and performance optimization
  • Ensure smooth deployment of robotic systems into manufacturing environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for system integration and workflows
  • Develop and standardize procedures for software coordination
  • Ensure systems meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support risk assessments and reliability testing
  • Execute test plans, procedures and protocols for Commissioning activities
  • Perform calibration and fine-tuning of components to achieve optimal functionality
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical role, preferably in engineering or automation industry
  • At lease 1 year of hands-on experience with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of various systems
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of software tools such as Linux, Python, ROS, Solidworks
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (Greece, Europe, South America)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours in the field, when required
