MBA Summer 2026 Internship (June - Aug.) - Investment or Portfolio Operations

The Brydon Group is a private equity firm based in Washington DC that partners with outstanding mid-career executives to acquire business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G), and healthcare software and services businesses.

Our Partners have 20+ years of experience in large cap private equity (Blackstone, Carlyle), multiple successful exits in software, and extensive public service backgrounds. We are passionate about helping our MBA fellows learn more about private equity and develop their abilities as both investors and operators.

This unique fellowship is perfect for an MBA student with prior consulting experience who is interested in gaining exposure to Private Equity operations and value creation.

You'll work closely with our investment team or our portfolio operations team to support pieces of their week-to-week workflows during pre-diligence, diligence and/or post-acquisition operations and have the opportunity to learn about our approach to lower middle-market investing and value creation.

Requirements

• Current MBA student (1st and 2nd year students enrolled in full time programs)

• Prior strategy consulting experience is a hard requirement (minimum of 2+ consecutive years) - ideal for MBB (or equivalent) alumni who are curious about PE
• Passion for / interest in private equity and small business
• Strong communication skills with ability to quicky synthesize information and visualize strategy (e.g. highly proficient with using PowerPoint, Excel, narrative long-form in Word, etc.)
• Experience or interest in one of our core Brydon industry areas: B2B, B2Gov, & healthcare software and services
