As a member of the Research & Growth Strategy team, you will be responsible for our research and due diligence strategy for thematic areas and potential investment opportunities. You will have the opportunity to build and evaluate investment theses and communicate your findings in investment memos and meetings. You'll also have the chance to work with existing portfolio companies on engagements around product development, footprint expansion, and operational improvements. This will be a full-time role for Summer 2026 (starting late May / early June) with the option to expand into a part-time, in-semester, hybrid role with 1-2 days commitment per week (<15 hours/week). Responsibilities
- Speak with a target company’s employees, customers, and competitors to better understand the opportunity
- Launch customer surveys to better understand customer sentiment
- Perform market research, including developing a market sizing model
- Analyze a company’s internal data to better understand their customer base and financials
- Partner with existing portfolio companies on product, commercial strategy, and operational projects
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear, compelling materials
- Demonstrated passion for technology or consumer businesses, with deep curiosity about markets, products, and competitive dynamics
- Experience leading due diligence expert network calls
- Currently enrolled in a top MBA program with plans to enter consulting or operating roles post-graduation
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking ability
- Ability to work across multiple projects with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
Compensation: $60/hour, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes.
