May 2026 Trading Boot Camp

What You’ll Do: Valkyrie is searching for students who are passionate about the financial markets and looking to learn more about options market-making. During the one-week Boot Camp, you will go through Mock trading sessions and trading games to help build an understanding of what a day in the life of a trader is like at Valkyrie. You will learn how to successfully manage and execute a trading strategy through education courses and trading sessions. We aim to train our future junior traders to become desk leads quickly. The Boot Camp will provide a first-hand look into Valkyrie and our approach to trading. What You’ll Need:

Expected graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027

Willingness to work in-person, in Chicago on May 18-22, 2026

Degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or equivalent

Passion for the financial markets

Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Entrepreneurial attitude with keen attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to make split-second logical decisions in a high-pressure environment

Competitive drive and the maturity to handle considerable responsibility

Capability to quickly recover from mistakes

Quantitative Analysis skills are a plus

Programming experience preferred
