  • Oversee inventory control systems to track materials and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Conduct inventory counts and reconciliation to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Implement procedures to optimize inventory turnover and minimize waste or obsolescence.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within material handling and inventory management.
  • Implement best practices and strategies for material flow, storage, and distribution.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material requirements are met according to production schedules.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding material orders, deliveries, and potential delays.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure materials meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, material costs, and supplier performance for management review.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all materials, including receipts, shipments, and order tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues.


We're looking for someone who has:

  • 3-5 years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience, preferred.
  • Ability to travel to Canada for training (preferred)
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and maneuver material and products up to 50 pounds
