Materials Science Account Manager

Schrödinger, the leading software and service provider for atomic-scale modeling and physics-based chemical simulations, seeks an Account Manager who will be responsible for establishing our materials science solutions in Europe.

What you’ll do:
- Build a pipeline by identifying and creating new business opportunities
- Communicate the benefits of digital chemistry approaches to industry
- Work with the scientific and IT teams by planning/conducting customer presentations, demonstrations, road shows and special events
- Continuously monitor market dynamics, analyze market opportunities, and build and execute marketing plans
- Manage key accounts
- Produce timely and accurate revenue forecasts
- Travel to customers and prospects as needed
What you should have:
- Advanced degree in chemistry, materials science or a related field
- At least two years of business experience in the scientific software space (local market knowledge is a plus)
- Fluency in English (German or French is a plus)
- Motivation to develop a market
