Compensation:

New hires for this position typically start between $21.50 and $25.80 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you'll do

The Material Handler performs duties related to the storage and movement of inventory including Receiving, Material Issue and Inventory related activities.

What you'll bring

  • Basic measuring skills to read and convert imperial American measurements to metric.
  • Basic math skills in calculation and conversion of decimals and fractions
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience/keyboarding experience
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift/pallet jack experience or the ability to pass training and certification required
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 months of related work experience or training;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements of a company approved driver

 

Preferably you'll bring

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment is desirable
  • Working knowledge of computer and ERP skills highly desirable
  • Familiarity with inventory best practices is a plus
