Arsenal Bio is seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Master Maintenance Mechanic reporting into the Facilities and Engineering department. The Master Maintenance Mechanic will maintain site equipment and apply preventative maintenance programs to ensure quality standards and GMP conditions with minimal downtime. This role also includes partnership with internal and external customers to execute work orders and project tasks timely. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Facilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Maintains equipment performance in a safe, optimal state through the application of the preventative maintenance programs to meet quality standards and GMP conditions with minimal downtime. Work includes troubleshooting, ordering, and installation of parts on equipment.
Oversee the work of outside service providers performing work in the facility
Execute/Review work orders and document work performed on paper work orders
Provide SME support on all GMP and Non-GMP utility systems
Support troubleshooting and recovery efforts including after-hours when necessary
Assist with defining maintenance processes, driving improvements, and achieving KPI targets
Communicates status of work orders, projects, tasks, etc. effectively
WHO YOU ARE
6+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other related industries
Experience working in facilities subject to GMP regulatory compliance
Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS)
Experienced working in Quality Management Systems, Veeva experience is preferred
Demonstrated technical understanding of the repair and maintenance of industrial, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Demonstrated ability to provide written and oral summaries of work
Experienced in good documentation practice (GDP)
Experienced in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Motivated individual able to seek ways to increase operational efficiency and reliability
General computer software skills (such as Microsoft Word and Excel)
Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays, as required
Physical Requirements:
Sit, stand, climb, and walk for a minimum of eight (8) hours with standard rest breaks and a meal break
Bend at the waist, kneel, and crouch in order to access, lift, obtain, and put away materials used within commercial manufacturing space and R&D laboratories
Repeatedly lift and carry up to thirty (30) pounds throughout an eight (8) work shift
