AltaML is looking for a hands-on Marketing Specialist to join our small but mighty marketing team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to help execute AltaML’s marketing initiatives across content, social media, events, and digital campaigns. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and excited to work across multiple areas of marketing.
You’ll help keep the marketing engine running by coordinating projects, creating content, supporting campaigns, and ensuring initiatives move forward quickly and smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Write and edit marketing content including blog posts, website copy, email campaigns, and social media content
Manage AltaML’s organic social presence (primarily LinkedIn), including planning, scheduling, and publishing content
Coordinate the marketing content calendar and blog publishing process
Work with freelance writers and designers to produce high-quality marketing assets
Support marketing campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline, and lead generation
Maintain and update website content while supporting SEO best practices
Coordinate internal stakeholders and contributors to keep marketing projects moving
Support conferences, speaking engagements, and industry events
Create or adapt visual assets for social media, presentations, and campaigns
What You Bring:
5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, technology, or startup environments
Strong writing and communication skills across blogs, social media, web, and email
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience managing digital marketing channels including websites, email, and social media
Hands-on experience creating content and supporting marketing campaigns
Comfortable creating simple visual assets using tools such as Canva or Figma
Experience with marketing tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude
A proactive mindset and excitement for working in a fast-paced environment
