Marketing Program Manager - Atlanta

AI overview

Lead the overall program management across multiple assessment pods, ensuring alignment and effective communication while navigating a complex, high-impact marketing transformation.

You will serve as the central program manager across all three assessment pods, working alongside the fractional CMO and the We Are Rosie client service team. Your job is to ensure the overall program runs on time, assessment methodologies are applied consistently, cross-pod learnings are captured and shared, and leadership has clear visibility into progress across the portfolio.

This is not a pod-level project management role. Each pod will have its own part-time project manager handling day-to-day execution. Your focus is the program layer — making sure the three pods are aligned, the fCMO has what he needs, deliverables are consistent, and nothing falls through the cracks between workstreams.

What You'll Do

Program Operations & Governance

  • Build and maintain the master program timeline across all three pods and phases
  • Establish and run the reporting cadence — weekly pod syncs, cross-pod standups, leadership updates
  • Track deliverables, dependencies, and risks across pods; escalate blockers early
  • Own program documentation — status reports, decision logs, action items, stakeholder communications

Assessment Toolkit & Methodology

  • Support the fCMO in building the standardized assessment toolkit (interview guides, surveys, audit templates, evaluation frameworks)
  • Ensure all three pods are applying consistent methodologies and producing comparable outputs
  • Manage the pre-work phase to align tools and processes before teams engage with brand stakeholders

Cross-Pod Coordination

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between brand leads so learnings from one pod inform the others
  • Coordinate SME deployment across pods to begin making improvements while the assessment is ongoing. Note, some specialists will flex between brands.
  • Identify patterns, shared challenges, and portfolio-level insights that individual pods might miss

Stakeholder & Executive Communication

  • Help prepare executive readout materials and status updates for client leadership
  • Support the fCMO in structuring presentations and recommendations for PE and brand stakeholders
  • Manage internal team communications between We Are Rosie, fCMO, and the broader pod teams

Resource & Budget Tracking

  • Track hours, utilization, and resource allocation across all pods
  • Flag resourcing gaps or capacity issues before they impact timelines
  • Support budget management and reporting for the overall engagement

Who You Are

You’re a Program Operator, Not Just a PM

You understand the difference between managing tasks and managing a program. You think in terms of dependencies, critical paths, and risk mitigation — not just Gantt charts. You can hold the big picture while staying close enough to the details to catch problems early.

You Thrive in Complex, Multi-Stakeholder Environments

This engagement involves a PE-backed company with many stakeholders, a fractional CMO, We Are Rosie’s client service team, three VP-level brand leads, part-time project managers, and a rotating cast of triage SMEs. You can navigate organizational complexity without getting lost in it.

You Build Systems That Scale

You create templates, processes, and reporting structures that make everyone more effective. You’re the person who builds the operating rhythm so the team can focus on the work, not the logistics.

You Communicate Up, Down, and Sideways

You’re equally comfortable drafting an executive status update for PE leadership and facilitating a working session between brand leads and SMEs. You know what each audience needs and how to deliver it.

You Have Marketing Context

While this is a program management role, you need enough marketing fluency to understand what the pods are assessing, why it matters, and how the pieces connect. You don’t need to be a marketing expert, but you should be able to follow the conversation and add value to it.

Ideal Background

  • 8–12+ years of experience in program management, operations, or consulting
  • Experience managing multi-workstream programs with cross-functional teams
  • Marketing or marketing-adjacent background — agency, in-house, or consulting environment
  • Experience with assessments, audits, or transformation engagements preferred
  • Strong toolkit builder — you create frameworks, templates, and processes that bring order to complexity
  • PE-backed, franchise, or multi-brand experience a plus
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments where the playbook is being built as you go

Team Structure

You sit at the program level alongside the fractional CMO and the We Are Rosie client service team:

  • Fractional CMO (Mike) — Strategic leader and “conductor” of the overall transformation
  • Client Service Directors (We Are Rosie) — Engagement management and client relationship
  • 3 VP-Level Brand Leads — Each owning assessment for their assigned brand(s)
  • 3 Pod-Level Project Managers — Part-time PMs embedded in each brand pod
  • ~12 Triage SMEs — Specialists deployed across pods as needed

Why This Engagement

This is a complex and high-impact marketing transformation program in the home services industry. You’ll be at the center of a multi-million dollar engagement, working with senior leaders across a $2B portfolio, and building the operating infrastructure that makes the entire transformation run. If you love bringing structure to chaos and operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this is your program.
