Marketing Operations Specialist

AI overview

Serve as the technical lead for marketing solutions, optimizing processes and guiding execution to support lead management and campaign deployment.

We’re a global team of over 400 people, working together to push the boundaries of open-source technology and multi-cloud solutions. Our vision is to help developers, builders, and creators bring their ideas to life with speed and simplicity, by providing a cloud data platform that makes open-source databases, search, streaming, and application infrastructure easily accessible to everyone.

The Role:

The Marketing Operations Specialist is the "engine" of our marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and high-quality deployment of all marketing campaigns—from intricate email nurtures, events to global webinar series. Your focus is on process excellence, technical accuracy, and ensuring that our lead routing logic works flawlessly to support our sales pipeline.

As a key member of our global Marketing Operations team, you will serve as the technical lead for the marketing solutions. You will work closely with the Marketing, Sales and RevOps teams and have the assets, segments, and workflows they need to meet their ambitious growth targets.

What You'll Do:

  • End-to-End Campaign Execution Support and Enablement: Build best practices to launch emails, landing pages, and automated nurtures based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead Management & Routing: Manage the qualification and distribution logic to ensure leads move efficiently through the funnel, adhering to strict SLAs with our Sales team.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous QA processes, including cross-browser testing, dynamic content validation, and lead-flow testing before every deployment.
  • Process Standardization: Design, establish and enforce templatisation to maintain a clean, scalable database and reporting capacities.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the marketing team, troubleshooting issues in real-time and providing platform training.
  • Optimization & Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests and user experiments to optimize conversion rates and improve the "Customer First" experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years in marketing operations or automation, ideally in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
  • Platform Expertise: Hands-on administrative experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) or similar MAP, and Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate proficiency in HTML/CSS for troubleshooting email rendering and a basic comfort level with data/numbers (SQL is a plus).
  • Logical Mindset: A strong aptitude for conditional logic (if/then/else) and the ability to visualize complex lead routing and nurture flows.
  • Execution Focus: A "measure twice, cut once" attitude with a proven ability to create and adhere to strict execution checklists and QA standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and report status back to non-technical partners clearly.
