About the role

2026 Auctane Summer Internship Program:

Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program. Students graduating in May 2026 are not eligible for the program

Duration:
Paid, 9-week internship 

Schedule:
40 hours per week, with the exception of the week of July 4th.

Program Dates:
June 9, 2025 — First day of onsite orientation
August 13, 2025 — Final day of the program

Location:
Hybrid role based in Austin, TX
In-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Remote: Monday and Friday

Interviews:
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis through March 31st

About the team

This is an internship role within the Marketing Operations team, working alongside our Marketing Operations Manager and Sr Marketing Analytics Manager. You will play a crucial support role in the execution, maintenance, and optimization of our marketing technology stack and automation processes that power lifecycle marketing communication. You’ll also learn how to capture and translate channel-level data into actionable intelligence for our teams.

What will you be doing?

Customer Lifecycle and Hubspot Support

  • Campaign Execution: Assist in the building, testing, and launching of emails, marketing campaigns, and forms within HubSpot.
  • Automation Support: Create and maintain automated workflows and nurture sequences for our lead and customer funnels, including managing the lead flow into Salesforce using lead scoring and marketing lead forms.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Test email rendering, email campaign details, lead intake forms, customer journey workflow logic, and audience segmentation to ensure 100% accuracy before campaign launch.
  • List Management: Support audience segmentation and list-building efforts for targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Documentation: Assist in documenting our core marketing automation processes, workflows, and campaign-building procedures to ensure efficiency and continuity.

Analytics and Looker Support

  • Reporting: Assist the analytics team in pulling performance data for key marketing campaigns and channels in Looker.
  • Dashboard QA: Help validate data and test dashboards to ensure metrics are pulling correctly from our source systems.
  • Data Translation: Help the Marketing team translate complex performance data and analytics into clear, actionable tasks and recommendations for cross-functional marketing channel owners.
  • Data Hygiene: Contribute to data integrity initiatives by helping to identify and clean up inaccurate or duplicate data in our CRM.
  • Analysis Support: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in ad-hoc reporting requests from the marketing team.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • A methodical and analytically minded approach to problem-solving.
  • Interest in marketing technology, automation, and how systems integrate (e.g., Marketing Automation Platform to CRM).
  • Eagerness to learn technical marketing skills.

What will make you stand out?

  • Experience or coursework related to business analytics.
  • Experience or coursework related to marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Familiarity with Sales CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in a QA or testing role.
  • Located in or near the Austin, Texas area
