Scope and Purpose

As Marketing Manager for Southern Europe, you will contribute to implement the marketing strategy for Belmond properties across the division. Working alongside the Divisional Brand & Marketing Director, you will focus on brand awareness and excellence, ensuring that all campaigns, editorial projects, and partnerships are executed with precision and drive engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the annual marketing plan, ensuring all projects remain on track, within budget, and aligned with luxury standards.
  • Support gold, silver, and local campaigns, ensuring seamless alignment between all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation of new brand collateral and assist in the production of photo and video shoots while managing regional image libraries.
  • Update hotel websites with relevant content and monitor performance to suggest actions that enhance visibility and conversion.
  • Develop innovative ideas and content for electronic and direct mailings targeting both consumers and the travel trade.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all marketing materials, social media messages, and editorial projects.
  • Proactively develop new projects and partnerships that elevate brand awareness and excellence.
  • Maintain regular communication with General Managers, PR Managers, and operational teams to support overall business strategies.
  • Collaborate with the head office to roll out global brand programs and initiatives at a local or regional level.
  • Work closely with Sales, Groups, and other departments in Milan to align on divisional projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing a brand marketing strategy within the luxury sector, including graphic and visual oversight.
  • Strong visual and creative skills with the ability to understand art direction and evaluate on-brand content.
  • A deep understanding of luxury brand standards in terms of visuals, copy, and the overall client experience.
  • Knowledge of CMS, email marketing systems, website management, and online digital channels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex details and meet concurrent deadlines under pressure.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and clearly express ideas in English and Italian.
  • Competency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
