Marketing Manager (L4)

About The Role

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to establish and scale our marketing function. This is a strategic and hands-on role: you will shape our brand, develop compelling stories, build strong partner relationships, and execute high-impact marketing initiatives across channels.


As our first marketing hire, you will work directly with senior leadership to set the vision and roadmap for marketing while independently driving execution. You will own key programs that elevate our market presence, support sales growth, and strengthen our reputation as trusted experts across Salesforce industries and solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand Development & Positioning

  • Define and evolve the company’s brand identity, narrative, and value propositions across priority industries and service lines.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Translate complex Salesforce and consulting capabilities into clear, compelling, and differentiating messaging.

Storytelling, Customer Advocacy & Thought Leadership

  • Build and manage a customer storytelling program, including case studies, testimonials, and video stories.
  • Develop structured frameworks to capture customer value and outcomes, ensuring stories align with partner requirements (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Develop thought leadership content that positions the company as an expert in Salesforce, technology consulting, sustainability, and industry transformation.

Partner & Ecosystem Marketing

  • Work with Salesforce and other ecosystem partners to co-market solutions, secure press and promotional opportunities, and participate in partner campaigns.
  • Build relationships with partner marketing teams and manage joint marketing activities such as events, content, and pipeline-driving initiatives.

Content & Digital Marketing

  • Produce high-quality content including blogs, whitepapers, industry insights, social media posts, newsletters, and sales enablement materials.
  • Manage digital marketing channels including website CMS, email marketing platforms, SEO optimisation, and paid digital campaigns as needed.
  • Implement analytics and reporting to measure the performance and ROI of digital efforts.

Events & Webinar Production

  • Plan, manage, and execute events, webinars, and virtual/in-person experiences—including partner events and industry conferences.
  • Coordinate logistics, speakers, promotional plans, and post-event follow-up to support lead generation.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Leadership to ensure marketing is aligned with business priorities.
  • Implement tools, processes, and calendars for efficient marketing operations.
  • Manage external vendors and freelancers as required.

About You
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:


    Must-Have

    • 4+ years in B2B marketing, preferably in technology, SaaS, consulting, or professional services.
    • Proven experience establishing a marketing in a fast-growing organisation.
    • Strong capability across brand, content development, digital channels, and event/webinar management.
    • Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, with a portfolio of content demonstrating high quality and versatility.
    • Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and partners.
    • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics


    Nice-to-Have

    • Experience marketing within the Salesforce ecosystem or broader enterprise technology landscape.
    • Understanding of Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, or Sustainability/Net Zero.
    • Experience managing agencies, designers, and external freelancers.
    • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) and demand generation principles.

    Salary & Other Details:

    SFIA Level 4, Base £55,350-£67,650 (OTE: £63,653-77,798)
