About the Role

  • As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy for the Australian market. This is a hands-on, 360-degree role covering brand, CRM, digital channels, partnerships, PR, and performance analysis.
  • You will work closely with local and regional teams to deliver impactful campaigns, drive member growth, and strengthen brand awareness. The role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, execution, and turning ideas into measurable outcomes. You will also manage and mentor one junior marketing team member.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing operations and CRM

  • EDM management: Own and execute email marketing campaigns for private and public sales, managing the full lifecycle from invitee segmentation through to in-event communications and post-event follow-up
  • CRM and insights: Analyse CRM and campaign data to improve segmentation, engagement, and conversion, and support the premium membership program
    Marketing tools and systems: Act as the local expert on marketing platforms, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and performance

Brand development and growth

  • Brand awareness and acquisition: Own brand awareness and member acquisition strategy for Australia, with a strong focus on database growth and engagement
  • Campaign development: Propose and execute marketing initiatives from concept through to delivery
  • PR and media relations: Develop and manage PR initiatives, including relationships with PR agencies, journalists, and media partners
  • Partnerships: Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with corporates, chambers, clubs, schools, and other relevant organisations

Team leadership and collaboration

  • Team management: Manage and develop one junior marketing team member through clear guidance and mentorship
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with IT, Customer Service, and E-commerce teams, and build strong relationships with regional marketing and CRM stakeholders

Requirements

Requirements

  • Around 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within retail or e-commerce
  • Hands-on experience across email marketing platforms and CRM systems. Experience with Insider is a strong advantage
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse campaign performance and extract actionable insights
  • PR experience or established relationships with PR agencies is recommended
  • Experience in luxury retail is a plus
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members is a plus
