Role Summary:

Marketing Manager (KR). You’ll lead Korean creator community growth through high-impact branded events and scaled CRM (Email/In-app). Requires 8+ years’ experience in event production and CRM, with a "test-and-learn" mindset and the ability to navigate a complex matrix organisation. Fluent in Korean.

Role: 

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of branded events (virtual and physical) for the Korean creator community, managing all logistics, budgets, and on-site production.
  • Develop and execute high-volume scaled communications, including growth email campaigns and in-product messaging, specifically designed to drive event participation and community engagement.
  • Oversee the production of all event and communication assets, including creative direction, copywriting, brand approvals, and localisation into Korean.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with the Korean creator community through live activations, ensuring the platform’s brand and values are celebrated at every touchpoint.
  • Manage relationships and output from external event production agencies and partners, ensuring world-class quality and timely delivery of all physical and digital experiences.
  • Analyse event and campaign performance rigorously, using data-driven insights to optimise future activations and communicating key learnings to regional APAC teams.
  • Pilot a test-and-learn methodology for creator engagement, experimenting with new event formats and communication designs to improve community sentiment.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, PR, Legal) to ensure all events and communications are strategically aligned and compliant with local regulations.

You:

  • Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, with a heavy focus on high-level event production, experiential marketing, and large-scale project management.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing complex, branded events and managing large-scale logistics for creative communities.
  • Extensive experience in CRM and scaled email campaign development, utilising digital communications to fuel live event attendance and retention.
  • Strong multi-stakeholder management experience, with the ability to navigate a complex matrix organisation and influence APAC-wide strategy.
  • Demonstrated talent at building collaborative partnerships with internal cross-functional teams and external creative agencies.
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives under tight timelines and maintains a calm, "get-it-done" attitude in high-stress, live-event environments.
  • Deep passion for the Korean video-sharing ecosystem and digital culture; identifying unique opportunities to celebrate and elevate local creators.
  • A self-starter and independent thinker with strong analytical capabilities to measure the ROI of community activations.
  • Willingness to be hands-on, from basic troubleshooting (HTML/SQL) to managing on-the-ground event requirements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, and fluent in Korean.
