Job Summary

The Marketing Manager professional develops and implements strategies to promote products and services focused on animal health served by AHV. This involves planning, crafting, and executing marketing campaigns, managing online and offline presence, and collaborating with various teams and stakeholders. The Marketing Manager will align closely to the overall AHV strategy, and support commercial excellence, and sales teams, so as to develop all media materials required to establish solid presence in all markets. The Marketing Manager collaborates with the Global Ruminant Product Marketer on a daily basis and will report every month to the Global Marketing Manager about the execution of the plans and budget spend. This role includes content creation, campaign analysis, and attending industry events, besides managing social media channels.

Major Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute marketing tactics and strategies.
  • Create campaigns to increase awareness and sales of products and services for farm animals.
  • Create marketing materials, designing and writing content such as flyers, brochures, digital ads, social media posts, and website content to educate and engage farmers and other industry stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Build solid long-term relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, ranchers, agricultural businesses, veterinarians, and distributors to promote products and services.
  • Provide technical information, sharing scientific data and product information with veterinarians and related animal health personnel.
  • Conduct market research, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing decisions, identifying new market opportunities.
  • Manage social media and digital content, overseeing social media channels and website content to reach target audiences.
  • Attend industry events, participating in trade shows, conferences, and meetings to network and promote products.
  • Provide support to the sales team by developing marketing materials, conducting product presentations, and assisting with sales strategies. 
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. 
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

Background

  • 3 years of proven performance in Marketing for a high demand customer landscape within the cattle farming industry.
  • Knowledge and effective execution abilities within innovative business models.
  • Exposure and ability to execute market expansions.
  • University degree in Management, Marketing, or related fields.

Higher degree in Marketing (a plus).
