Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

Zola is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team this summer. This role is designed for a proactive individual eager to gain hands-on experience across the full marketing spectrum—from brand activations and influencer campaigns to B2B community building and event planning. Reporting directly to the Integrated Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our team’s growth and helping us better serve our community of couples and professional wedding vendors.

We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about the marketing landscape and excited to bring new, creative ideas. The ideal candidate possesses:

  • Excellent relationship-building and project management skills.
  • A deep interest in the brand marketing landscape and a strong understanding of content strategy for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Excitement for working with cross-functional teams, from creative partners to internal stakeholders and external Zola vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As a Marketing Intern, you will gain 360-degree marketing experience through the following projects:

  • Community & Event Marketing: Support the Integrated Marketing Manager in planning and executing Zola for Vendors in-person events, gaining hands-on experience in community building.
  • Social Media Strategy: Build content strategies and social media content plans in partnership with the Brand team. 
  • Campaign Support: Serve as a key supporter across various brand, social, and influencer projects, including drafting creative briefs and reviewing live campaign content.
  • Influencer Coordination: Support the influencer onboarding process, manage deadlines, and assist with the execution of influencer swag mailings and seeding lists.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree (rising Junior or Senior).
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and think critically and analytically.
  • An intellectual curiosity and eagerness to grow professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet changing priorities and establish relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Entry-level or prior work experience in marketing is preferable but not required.

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • The compensation for this role is $20.00/hour. 
  • This full-time role will be hybrid at our office in NYC (Tuesdays & Thursdays). 
  • This role is not eligible for relocation. 
  • The program will run for 10 weeks from June 9, 2026 - August 13, 2026.
