Are you ready to kickstart your marketing career at the heart of global gaming? We’re looking for a high-energy, creative, and organized Marketing Intern to join our Global Central Marketing team. You'll be right at the heart of the action, helping us craft joy for millions of players. From brainstorming the next big social media trend to building strategic decks that shape our global campaigns, your work will help define how the world sees Rovio.
This is a paid 6-month internship, with a preferred start in April 2026. Please note that relocation or visa support is not provided for internship roles. You’ll work in our Barcelona studio in a hybrid setup with four days in the office per week as long as your schedule allows, and get to collaborate with team members across our different locations.
You will have impact and fun at work by:
Supporting our VP of Global Marketing by crafting compelling, strategic presentation decks for executive-level projects and global campaigns.
Collaborating across borders with our Heads of Performance, 360 Marketing, and Creative Strategy to keep global projects moving forward.
Acting as the team’s heartbeat by facilitating follow-up discussions and ensuring a smooth flow of information between our hubs.
Bringing your creative spark to brainstorming sessions for brand strategy, social content, and 360° marketing campaigns.
Mastering the "to-do list" to help various leads across different time zones stay organized and on track.
Turning customer insights into fresh, exciting activation ideas that resonate with our players.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
You’re currently pursuing a Marketing, Business, or Communications degree.
You’re a pro at PowerPoint or Google Slides and know how to make data and ideas look stunning and easy to follow.
Your English (written and verbal) is top-notch, and you feel comfortable chatting with stakeholders at all levels.
You’re comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to enhance your workflow.
You have a solid grasp of modern channels, from performance marketing to community-led social media.
You’re an outgoing self-starter who excels at building trust and connections, even through a screen.
