Our company is looking for a Marketing Intern with entry-level experience to add to our nationwide team. New Home Star is the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America. As a member of our Marketing team, you have the opportunity to support our corporate office and our new home builder partners to sell more homes more profitably. Our Corporate Support Office is located in the heart of downtown Elmhurst and is not your typical “corporate” setting. Requirements

New Home Star is seeking a motivated, educated, goal-oriented professional to join our team. If you fit the requirements below, you are an ideal match for this position!

  • Preferably a Junior or Senior or recent graduate with a Business or Communications Degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, relationship, and project management skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Self-starter who constantly seeks out new ways to improve and advance our mission.
  • Detail-obsessed; driven to produce the highest quality, as-pixel-perfect-as-possible work.
  • Hunger to always be learning and improving your skills.
  • Experience with Canva preferred.
  • Background checks required.
  • Ability to work in-person two days per week in the Elmhurst, IL corporate office is required.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities are geared around assisting the Star Marketing team with day-to-day marketing campaign activities and work-flow including the following:

  • Timely project completion.
  • Maintain workflow within our Project Management System.
  • Perform effectively as a member of the project team.
  • Conducting research as needed.
  • Timely, aesthetic, accurate, and error-free work product is paramount.
  • Taking notes during calls and meetings.
  • Schedule internal/external email campaigns.
  • Update monthly reporting for various campaigns.
  • Contribute in all possible ways to building the best team in the world.
  • Any other responsibilities consistent with a Corporate Marketing Intern position.
  • The Marketing Internship will offer you exposure to the following types of campaigns currently executed by New Home Star's Marketing Department:
    • Social Media
    • Content marketing
    • Email marketing
    • Direct Marketing
    • Recruitment marketing
    • CRM Management (Hubspot)
