The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our commercial team at Culture and report directly to the Director of Marketing. In this role you will learn how to implement campaigns, monitor performance and gain exposure to our modern marketing stack. This role is based in our South San Francisco office on site 5 days a week. We are looking for a Graduate level student graduating in December of 2026 or Summer of 2027.  

What You'll Do:

  • Create impactful campaigns using an integrated, multi-disciplinary marketing approach, including:
    • Create graphics and videos in Canva or Adobe as components of marketing collateral.
    • Create webpages/landing pages to showcase collateral and products.
    • Draft emails in HubSpot, conduct A/B tests and deploy emails.
    • Implement digital campaigns through Google Ads and LinkedIn paid.
    • Monitor campaign performance through HubSpot and GA4 reports.
  • Support the marketing team in generating POs and managing invoices.
  • Other projects as assigned.

About You:

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters degree in marketing/marketing communications graduating in December 2026 or summer of 2027.
  • Proven website design experience with WordPress, HubSpot, or comparable CMS platforms is required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design is a plus.
  • Demonstrated copywriting and editorial experience using Google Workspace tools is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in a technology or biotechnology company is preferred.

Location & Schedule: 

  • This is an onsite position. We’re looking for someone based in the San Francisco Bay Area who is able to work in person at our office in South San Francisco.
  • The duration of this internship is 3 months.

Base Salary Range:

  • This is a paid internship and this role is $35 - $40 an hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
