The Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth in Nigeria. Reporting to the Head of Marketing in Nairobi, Kenya, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and external agencies to plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns that align with the company's objectives.
What does the job involve
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social, PR, events, and traditional media for Nigeria and West Africa
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the Nigeria and West African markets
- Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and case studies
- Be part of the team that manages the company's social media presence, including content creation, community management, and social advertising
- Plan and execute events and sponsorships that align with the company's brand and marketing objectives
- Work with external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns on time and within budget
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results and ROI
- Develop a referral program that helps to build and sustain the company MRR
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute account-based marketing strategies that support pipeline growth and revenue targets
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that spend is allocated effectively and efficiently to drive maximum impact across all marketing activities for the Nigeria and West African Market
- Come up with strategic events to drive brand awareness, visibility, lead generation and partnership
- Work with sales team to come up with a well thought out plan on both inbound and outbound lead generation strategies through the social media platforms
- Any other task that would be assigned in the course of discharging this functions.
- 2+ years of B2B marketing experience, with demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns
- Experience working in Nigeria and West African market, with a deep understanding of the local market, trends, and customer behavior
- Experience in working for a start-up is preferred, especially in HR-tech/Fintech/InsurTech
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary: 3.6m-4.5m NGN per annum
