JOB DESCRIPTION

This will be a 12-month maternity cover contract which involves implementing marketing strategies and brand plans across Richmond’s four brand marketing teams: Alcohol & Mixers, Beverages & Energy, Snacks & Confectionary and Health & Beauty. This is a great opportunity to work across multiple marketing leading brands in many categories; from local legend brands (VitHit & Fulfil) to global icons (Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Aperol & Jägermeister) and innovative challenger brands (Huel Smart Food, Tony’s Chocoloney). The role is Dublin based in our City West office but there will be some travel involved for internal and external meetings. 


 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee and grow the brand marketing department through actionable insights, brand marketing strategies, techniques and templates, as well as coaching & developing the marketing team. 
  • Collaborate with Richmond’s Leadership Team to uncover insights and opportunities to develop marketing and brand strategies for existing and potential new brands which will deliver both volume and value business growth. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Richmond brand planning process 2026 & 2027. This will include timings, templates, workshops, internal & external communications and closing off feedback loop etc. 
  • Manage the development and implementation of brand marketing plans and strategies by working closely with Marketing Mangers, Department Heads, Brand Principals and 3rd Party Agencies to create effective plans focused on brand growth. Overseeing & Signing off brand/campaign playbooks, resolving challenges as they arrive and providing feedback and coaching to ensure team is consistently performing above standard. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new brand principals to fill them with confidence around Richmond’s brand building and marketing capabilities. Attend and prepare engaging content for Quarterly Brand Reviews, Top-2-Top and Brand Planning meetings. 
  • Be the go-to authority for all things brand marketing in Richmond and shine a light on all the great brand and marketing campaigns being achieved. 


 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  1. Must have 10+ years in senior brand marketing roles in any of the following Industries: Alcohol, Beverages, Snacks and Confectionary.
  2. Excellent communication skills and a persuasive pitcher.
  3. Strong people and team management experience. We need a leader not a follower.
  4. A self-starter with strategic and creative solutions.
  5. Passionate about brand marketing and consumer trends.
  6. Great PowerPoint & Creative skills and bringing to life a good pitch/story.
