TLDR

Shape brand visuals from the ground up for two companies, balancing strategic brand development with high-volume production while leading AI-assisted design innovations.

You’ll be the senior design voice on a small marketing team. We have a part-time designer who’s strong at production volume and motion graphics (After Effects), and we need someone who sets the visual standard—building the brand systems, type scales, and templates that the whole team works within.

One of our two brands needs guidelines built from the ground up. The other is due for a refresh. Beyond that foundation work, there’s a steady stream of high-volume production: landing pages, email templates, ad creatives, brochures, tradeshow materials, and social assets. You’ll do both—the strategic brand work and the hands-on execution—with direct visibility into how your work drives pipeline and revenue.

We use AI tools extensively. You’ll work with AI image generation (Midjourney, Nano Banana/Gemini, GPT Image, Adobe Firefly) and AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as part of your daily workflow. We’re not looking for someone who’s experimenting with AI—we need someone who already uses these tools to produce professional-quality output faster.

What You’ll Do

  • Landing Pages: Design and build conversion-focused landing pages in Unbounce for paid campaigns, product launches, and partner programs. Produce design variants when requested for testing.
  • Email Design: Design email templates and campaign-specific layouts in Stripo and Brevo. Build reusable, modular email templates that maintain brand consistency. Ensure responsive rendering across devices and clients.
  • Sales & Marketing Collateral: Design brochures, one-pagers, sell sheets, and pitch decks for tradeshow distribution, agent recruitment, and partner onboarding.
  • Digital Advertising: Create ad creatives for LinkedIn, Meta, and Google Display across multiple formats and sizes. Produce variations for testing as directed by the marketing team.
  • Social Media & Video: Design social media graphics, carousels, and short-form visual content for LinkedIn. Explore AI video tools (Sora, Kling, Runway) for marketing video content.
  • Tradeshow & Event Materials: Design retractable banners, booth graphics, printed handouts, and digital screen content for 6+ events per year.
  • Brand Development: Build brand guidelines from scratch for our insurance platform brand and lead a visual refresh of our payroll brand. Define color palettes, type systems, photography/illustration direction, and usage rules. Document everything so the broader team can execute consistently.
  • Design Systems & Templates: Build and maintain reusable templates (Figma components, Canva templates, Stripo email modules) that the broader team can use to produce on-brand assets at scale. Establish typographic hierarchy, grid-based layouts, and spacing standards that eliminate guesswork.
  • Quality & Consistency: Set and maintain the visual standard across both brands. Ensure all marketing touchpoints meet brand guidelines for typography, spacing, and layout. Manage and organize design files and asset libraries.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English—you’ll be on video calls daily, giving and receiving feedback in English
  • 3–6 years of professional design experience with a portfolio showing landing pages, digital ads, print collateral, and email design
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience with landing page builders (Unbounce, Instapage, or similar) and email design tools (Stripo, Brevo, or similar)
  • Active use of AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Nano Banana, GPT Image, Adobe Firefly, or similar) and AI assistants as part of your design workflow
  • Understanding of typographic scale, grid-based layouts, and design system fundamentals (component libraries, spacing tokens, style guides)
  • Experience creating brand guidelines or visual identity systems—not just executing within them
  • Based in Colombia with reliable internet and a professional remote setup

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for insurance, payroll, HR tech, or financial services audiences
  • Short-form video creation using AI video tools (Sora, Kling, Runway, Veo)
  • Experience building Canva templates for non-designers to self-serve
  • Familiarity with HTML email constraints and responsive design patterns
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization and landing page best practices
