About the Job:

Seeking a skilled, highly creative B2B Marketing Coordinator to execute APAC marketing and demand gen activities and support aggressive growth goals. We are looking for an inspired B2B marketing professional with cutting-edge and practical knowledge in areas including event management, customer segmentation and targeting, demand gen initiatives, end to end program management, and guerilla marketing.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of APAC event management including developing event plans, coordination of events, negotiation of contracts, and working booths to drive engagement and generate leads. The role will also be responsible APAC demand gen and awareness programs, budget management, and strategic metrics and reporting for the region.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to revenue goals by executing data-driven marketing initiatives that activate, inspire, convert, and engage customers.
  • Coordinates cross-functionally with Alliances, OEM, channel, and regional marketing teams on various programs.
  • Develop the APAC marketing plan for the fiscal year and monitor budget expenditures to ensure alignment with goals and staying within budget.
  • Implements low- or no-cost guerrilla marketing tactics to drive awareness and lead gen in the APAC region.

Events

    • Collaborates with sales, marketing, and SE teams to plan and recruit for events, managing deliverables across departments.
    • Oversees event logistics, production, signage, shipping, and staffing for tradeshows and local events.
    • Directly interface with vendors, technology partners, and customers to coordinate demos, booth logistics, speaking opportunities, and social functions, ensuring a top-tier event experience aligned with the go-to-market strategy.
    • Researches and evaluates new event options for relevance to target audiences and messaging.
    • Handles all onsite tasks at events, including setup, teardown, vendor management, troubleshooting, audience engagement, product pitching, and staff coordination.

Demand Gen

    • Responsible for creating, expanding, and implementing paid demand gen campaigns to generate leads, increase awareness, and qualify prospects through various channels (content syndication, digital ads, paid social, SEM, webinars, etc.).
    • Focus on maximizing ROI by optimizing campaigns and content to improve performance.
    • Negotiate programs and collaborate with media vendors to find opportunities to leverage data and campaign creativity, capturing more leads at a lower cost per lead (CPL).
    • Ensures continuous optimization through A/B and multivariate testing for both demand gen and nurture content.
    • Collaborates with alliances and channels on cross-functional, co-sponsored inbound and outbound campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in planning, managing, and executing events.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and managing demand gen campaigns, with a proven track record of driving implementation and measuring ROI.
  • Preferred experience in start-ups or agile, fast-moving company settings.
  • A highly motivated, self-driven professional who excels both independently and as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and the ability to make firm decisions while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments, with a strong track record of developing and executing innovative guerrilla campaigns.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to clearly and persuasively convey ideas.
  • Passionate about data-driven marketing, with strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Laser-focused on achieving corporate and departmental goals, with a dynamic and assertive presence in booths that attracts large crowds.
  • A skilled negotiator, persistent and determined, always overcoming objections to achieve success.
  • Social media management experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (35%+), including trips to Singapore, Japan, Korea, Australia, and India.
