Responsibilities/Missions

As a Marketing & Communication Intern, you will support the Marketing and Community Manager in growing Australiance’s online and offline presence. Your key tasks will include:

  • Assist in managing and growing the company’s presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Support the creation of visual content and communication materials using Canva.
  • Help with website updates and newsletter preparation.
  • Assist the planning, coordination, and promotion of events (online and in-person)
  • Support post-event evaluations and providing input for future improvements
  • Help with business development activities and contributing ideas to the overall digital marketing strategy.

Length

  • Duration: 6 months internship
  • Type: part-time of at least 3 weekdays per week
  • Start date: 2nd February 2026

Requirements

Applicant Profile and Competencies / Technical Skills

  • You are currently studying at a business or communications school or university and are available for an internship in Sydney
  • You have successful professional experience in project management, event organisation, and communication and want to gain more practical experience by working with best-in-class IT tools

  • You have a can-do attitude, combining high-level thinking and a hands-on approach
  • You are a fast learner and proactive in your work
  • You have great attention to detail
  • You want to know more about the start-up ecosystem
  • Your English is fluent, both written and spoken
  • IT: good knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, Wordpress, Canva, LinkedIn, and Collaboration tools. Skills in Customer Relationship Management and Marketing automation would be a good bonus
