Responsibilities/Missions
As a Marketing & Communication Intern, you will support the Marketing and Community Manager in growing Australiance’s online and offline presence. Your key tasks will include:
- Assist in managing and growing the company’s presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Support the creation of visual content and communication materials using Canva.
- Help with website updates and newsletter preparation.
- Assist the planning, coordination, and promotion of events (online and in-person)
- Support post-event evaluations and providing input for future improvements
- Help with business development activities and contributing ideas to the overall digital marketing strategy.
Length
- Duration: 6 months internship
- Type: part-time of at least 3 weekdays per week
- Start date: 2nd February 2026
Requirements
Applicant Profile and Competencies / Technical Skills
- You are currently studying at a business or communications school or university and are available for an internship in Sydney
- You have successful professional experience in project management, event organisation, and communication and want to gain more practical experience by working with best-in-class IT tools
Key requirements
- You are a team player willing to face challenges
- You have a can-do attitude, combining high-level thinking and a hands-on approach
- You are a fast learner and proactive in your work
- You have great attention to detail
- You want to know more about the start-up ecosystem
- Your English is fluent, both written and spoken
- IT: good knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office suite, Wordpress, Canva, LinkedIn, and Collaboration tools. Skills in Customer Relationship Management and Marketing automation would be a good bonus
