Geotab is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist who will work across Marketing teams to design, build, and monitor all marketing automation workflows within the Marketo platform, with a primary focus on supporting Geotab SMB (Project Voyager). This role will support the high volume of lead generation activities through the development of automated multi-channel campaigns that will assist Geotab SMB to land new leads, expand, and retain accounts. As a Marketing Automation Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be creating and managing multi-channel campaigns within the Marketo platform, including email nurtures, landing pages, forms, and automated programs. You will be responsible for the implementation of the project tasks, as well as managing day-to-day activities such as maintaining lead scoring models, lead routing processes, and undertaking continual performance monitoring. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Segment, Campaign, and Regional Marketing teams, as well as Content, Creative Design, and Analytics teams.
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organized professional with strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate requirements for complex automations and convey performance insights to stakeholders. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.
Builds and deploys always-on and strategic multi-channel campaigns aligned to demand generation, lead nurturing.
Build automated campaigns, sequences, triggers, dynamic templates, and segmentation through email, push notifications, and/or in-app/in-product messaging to drive lead conversion and on-going engagement.
Perform QA on all campaign assets (emails, landing pages, forms, journeys) to continually optimize effective execution.
Conduct ongoing testing related to subject lines, email copy, layouts and CTAs that drives conversion improvement.
Work with the analytics team to gather funnel insights; lead generation, engagement, behaviour and conversion.
Support ongoing development and optimization of the lead management process, including tracking, scoring and routing.
Track marketing automation and email marketing analytics to improve engagement, qualified leads, and ROI.
Communicate regularly across marketing stakeholder groups (Segment Mktg, Campaign Mktg, Regional Mktg, Content, Creative Design) to share insights and results.
3 - 5 years of experience in Marketo Engage, building dynamic campaigns and email journeys.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Hands-on expertise in Marketo (Marketo Certified Expert preferred) and familiarity with Salesforce integration.
Deep understanding of B2B marketing concepts like the sales funnel, demand waterfall, and buyer’s journey.
Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from campaign performance and lead management data.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to build assets that dynamically adapt to customized content.
Ability to coach and guide colleagues on platform use to enable team self-sufficiency.
