About the Position:

 

Our small but mighty marketing team is growing, and we’re on the lookout for our next creative Marketing Associate to jump in and make an impact! This is great position that will provide you with a chance to get involved in the ever-changing, exciting aspects of marketing within the P&C and Commercial insurance space.

Whether you are crafting agent communications, writing copy, creating social media content, or assisting with event planning and execution you will play an active role in helping to make our marketing strategies come to life!

 

*This position is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity that can be based in one of the following states only: AL, AZ, FL, GA, KY, LA, MA, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.



Travel will be required for day-to-day work, team meetings, training, trade shows, industry events and  conferences.

 

Key Responsibilities: (What you'll be asked to do)

  • Assist with the development/editing of marketing materials and collateral including white papers, Quick Reference Guides, and presentations. Ensuring brand guidelines are met.
  • Organize and coordinate marketing promo items and events such as conferences, webinars, trade shows. (Must be willing to travel to events when needed.)
  • Build and execute social media strategy and campaigns. Includes creating content for social media channels (Facebook and LinkedIn) and report on success by monitoring key metrics, and making adjustments accordingly.
  • Respond to and monitor marketing queries via phone, email, or social media.
  • Assist in drafting responses to Google Business Reviews and BBB complaints.
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums (social media, website, email, blog posts, etc.).
  • Provide miscellaneous administrative and project support to the marketing and sales team





The Successful Candidate: (What we're looking for)

  • You’re a social media marketing wiz that enjoys creating engaging content across multiple mediums.
  • You’re open-minded, motivated and have great client-facing skills.
  • You have great knowledge and are well versed in best practices across all social media platforms.
  • You have previous copywriting experience, and know how to create engaging content across different mediums.
  • Previous event planning and coordination experience a plus.



Some Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with prior experience in a B2B organization.
  • Insurance industry marketing a plus.
  • Excellent creative writing and proofreading skills are a must.
  • Skilled in writing and editing content, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the year for conferences/events.





Education:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.

 

Computer Skills:  

  • Must be proficient with MS Office and other internal insurance related programs, systems or applications. You must be good with technology and able to pick up on internal systems and programs quickly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using programs such as Slack & MS Teams. You are comfortable sharing screens and video chatting.
  • Intermediate level of experience with Graphic Design Software (Visme, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Previous experience with HubSpot a plus.



 

Other: This is a remote work opportunity

  • Reliable high-speed internet connectivity required.
  • Designated quiet work from home space.

 

The typical base pay for this role in the U.S. is: $ 50,000 - $55,000 year + benefits.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of what Swyfft may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The range reflects annual compensation (as applicable) and does not include bonuses or other incentives that the company may choose to pay at its sole discretion.
