Marketing Assistant Manager (E-commerce, Bilingual Chinese Required)
TLDR
Lead the growth of Synear’s D2C and e-commerce channels while managing marketing strategies and operational logistics to enhance customer engagement and revenue.
E-commerce & D2C Channel Development
• Lead the setup and growth of Synear’s D2C and e-commerce channels, including storefront creation, product listings, and optimization.
• Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including pricing, promotions, and inventory coordination.
• Analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and customer behavior to drive revenue growth.
• Support cost estimation and margin analysis, including product pricing, shipping costs, and platform fees.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish in-house logistics workflows, including order fulfillment, warehousing, and shipping processes.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing plans across digital, e-commerce, events, and in-store channels.
• Support traffic generation strategies for D2C channels (paid ads, social media, influencer collaborations, etc.).
• Oversee event planning and execution for trade shows, roadshows, and promotional activations.
• Supervise and support junior marketing staff or interns as needed.
Customer Engagement & Sales Support
• Partner with Sales to support key account promotions and omnichannel campaigns.
• Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and engagement metrics to improve product positioning and user experience.
Operational Coordination
• Coordinate logistics for marketing and e-commerce activities, including product shipments, inventory, and vendor management.
• Work closely with internal teams or vendors to ensure smooth warehousing, fulfillment, and delivery.
• Maintain marketing budgets, e-commerce cost tracking, and campaign performance reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing preferred
- Strong communication skills, Bilingual in English and Mandarin required
- At least 5 year of E-commerce experience, food industry preferred
- Hands-on experience with D2C or e-commerce operations, preferably building or managing online stores.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce sales, pricing strategy, and cost structure (COGS, shipping, platform fees, margins).
- Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment processes.
- Experience with platforms such as Shopify, instacart, or similar is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned sales territory domestically and/or internationally as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, etc.
- Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000/ year, plus up to 20% performance bonus
- Onsite 5 days a week, Monday - Friday
